1:1 guidance
This is not traditional psychotherapy.
While my background as a trauma informed therapist undoubtedly informs how I show up, this work feels different. It allows me to work outside the parameters of managed care, diagnosis, treatment plans, symptom reduction, or fixing what is wrong. Instead, it feels more about creating space to explore what is true.
I deeply value the work I've done as a therapist, and respect and admire practicing therapists. (I founded and run a group practice of incredible therapists; If you are looking for one, and live in Maryland, I can't recommend Rose Wellness enough)! I personally haven't worked directly with clients since 2023, but have recently felt a tug to return to similar work. The space I'm creating somehow feels more true for me, and more raw. I'm simply choosing to explore it non-judgmentally.
I am not here to tell you who you are, what decisions to make, or who you should become. I am here to walk alongside you with curiosity, honesty, and compassion as you deepen your relationship with yourself. Together, we'll gently examine the stories, beliefs, and patterns that may no longer serve you, making room for greater authenticity, self-trust, and alignment with what matters most.
Because this work lives outside the clinical frame, I do believe that we have more room to wander, to wonder, and to follow the conversation where it naturally wants to go. There is less focus on outcomes and more attention to curiosity, reflection, and the deeper questions that often get overlooked in our day-to-day lives.

what this looks like
We'll meet for 50 minutes via audio or video. You are welcome to arrive with a question, a topic to explore, or no agenda whatsoever. We'll follow the conversation where it wants to go.
What we discuss stays between us. This is a private, confidential space where you are free to speak openly, explore honestly, and share without fear of judgment. My hope is that this sense of safety allows you to bring forward the parts of yourself that are often kept hidden, rushed past, or left unspoken.
I am not an expert. My role is not to provide answers, but to notice, reflect, and explore alongside you. Often, what we most need is not advice, but a space to see ourselves more clearly.
This is a conversation between two humans. While our time together is centered on you, I believe my own self-disclosure can foster trust, connection, and a deeper sense of shared humanity.
